I drew out a rose for a string - the idea came from the book The Beauty of Zentangle and it is from Marizaan van Beek CZT's roses in the book. Some of the tangles I used are: Afterglo, Crescent Moon, Cubic, Caviar, Hypnotic, Tripoli, Knights Bridge and Stipple. The colour is with Derwent watercolour pencil crayons and a Pigma micron pen. It is good to be back Zentangling again.
Very nice. I can see the rose, yet there's an abstract quality to it that I really like. Roses (and butterflies, and rainbows, and...) can end up rather trite, but this isn't. Nice touches of brown too.
