Curvy Ing

I used Ing and Curved the lines.  I got the idea from Margaret Bremner's Blog - Enthuastic Artist.  I used  a beige watercolour paper, a black and a blue micron pen and some watercolour pencil crayons.

Diva Weekly Challenge # 185

The Diva Weekly Challenge this week is a duo Tangle - Phicops vs Diva Dance.  I started with a tile that I had put a wash on with acrylic inks.  This seems to be a variation of Phicops as the right sides are folded under at a different angle.

Diva Weekly Challenge # 184

This challenge was to draw the new Official Tangle ING by Molly Hollibaugh.  I drew two of them then added some rounding.  I filled in the background with Hollibaugh with Zingers on the ends.  I then added Printemps, Tipple and some lines and back in some of the shapes.  I added some Fescu to the stems of the Zingers.

Diva Weekly Challenge # 183

I drew this tangle correctly in my sketch book but then when I was doing it on the tile I somehow got it wrong  I continued with it anyways and this is what I ended up with.  I will have to try it again.  I haven't been Zentangling lately so will have to try and get back some of my enthusiasm.
The shading is done with sepia and brown conte and the background for the orbs is done with a #1 brown Pigma micron pen.

Tangle Patterns String # 046

This was going to be #48 It's a String Thing but I used different tangles.

It's a String Thing # 49.

This is another tile I had in my Zentangle kit waiting to be completed.  This is the 10th Anniversary String by Adele Bruno, CZT.  This has been in my kit since July 15th/14.  I had drawn the string on an acrylic ink splash background.  I don't know the name of the tangle I used.  The background is Printemps with a Staedtler Triplus Fineliner pen.  I like the effect of the background and will perhaps do this technique again.
