Second Diva Weekly Challenge No. 81 "Guest Post - Relay for Life".  I started with the background by wetting the paper then dropping some Daler Rowney Acrylic Artists Inks in Process Cyan, Indian Yellow and Flame Orange.  I used this background for the Mandala design.  It looks like there are some cups of black coffe in it.

Diva Weekly Challenge No. 81 - "Guest Post - Relay for Life!"  I used the tangle Betweed and when I finished they sort of looked like bird's nests.  I used my new distress ink pad and dabbed on the background and then for the centers of the Betweeds I used my blender pen with the ink from the pad.

This is another Zentangle that I did with a distress ink background.  I did this around 4am because I couldn't sleep.  It started out as a central leaf design and then I started adding to the background.  I guess I could have shaded it but I let the light and dark contrast do that.  I find that on this heavier watercolour paper the graphite really smears and I feel that the colour is shading enough sometimes.
