Diva Weekly Challenge # 191

Diva Weekly Challenge # 191:  Monotangle:  Betweed".
I filled the petals of a flower with versions of Betweed.  The center, berries and first layer of petals are coloured with Prismacolour pencil crayons.  Now that it is finished it looks sort of Christmasy.

K for Keith

This Zentangle will be made into a card for my son Keith.  His birthday is at the end of the month.

K for Kassidy

I did this Zentangle at the Wednesday Painters yesterday.  I tried to keep it very feminine.  Kassidy has a birthday in November and I will be there for it so I now have the card ready to go.

I used Beanious by Abbey Gray and did not follow the instructions too well so it looks a little different than it should.  I used Onion Drops by Shasta Garcia, Wind Farm by Margaret Bremner as well as Printempts and Pokeleaf.  The colour is with Derwent watercolour pencil crayons.

Ann's Flowers

These are some flower ideas from a painting by Ann Marie Irvine that I saw on Pinterest.  I used Tom Bow markers and a Stabilo pen for the colour and found out that they are not permanent like the Pigma Micron Pens are.  I will try this technique again using some form of permanent colour.

Flowers

I saw this background on the internet with flowers in the foreground.  I tried it on a smaller scale and then added a touch of watercolour pencil crayon.

Diane's Leaves

My friend, Diane Boyko gave me this tile a few months ago.  She had impressed some purple dye from some leaves from her garden onto the paper.  I finally got around to tangling on it.  I added some flowers, leaves and circles, tangled in the circles then added some pencil crayon in greens and yellows for the leaves.  The outer edges were softened with a cream coloured pencil crayon then I used a blender pencil on over that.  Thanks for the tile Diane.

Beginner Tangles

I tried a Zentangle using beginner tangles.
