I saw an idea on the internet for 3 egg shaped forms then flowers peeking from behind so this is my interpretation of it. The egg shape in the foreground is Itch from Sandy Steen Bartholomew's book, Yoga for your Brain.

I used Skein from Yoga for the Brain by Sandy Steen Bartholomew, a Zendala idea from that book and spirals - inspiration from the internet. I did not use a string for this Zentangle as the tangles just grow and need space.

Weaving long shapes - another variation on a theme. This time I drew the shapes in pencil so I could use tangles that didn't necessarily fit into the edges. Drew on Dec.24/11.

I used wider shapes this time for this string idea. The center tangle is called retro by HELena. I found it on the internet. Drew on Sat.Dec.24/11.

I tried a pinwheel flower pattern I got off the internet. My friend Diane showed me how to draw the holly. It is a continuous quilting pattern. The idea for the rope with rings came from the internet too. I started with the center flower and then drew the tangles from there - didn't use a string.

String idea off internet zentangle. Layering squares.

Found a site on the internet that showed how to draw the torn paper design. I had to have the water running off the tile for the lily pads.

I need more practice at drawing the center motif that I found on the internet. I also drew the holly and red berries. A friend showed me how to draw the holly. It is a continuous line quilting design.

New string idea I tried. A new tangle I found on the internet called Hexachain. I also used Bronx cheer. I was introduced to this tangle in the summer and they said it is a great tangle for covering up errors. Well, that's what I used it for.

A new string idea I got from the internet. I probably should have made them wider. I used a new tangle I found on the internet called Diamond drops for one of the braids.

I got the string idea from the internet. This is my third attempt at filling the sections with tangles.
