Zendala Dare August 3, 2012. This Zendala is in memory of Al who lost his life to cancer 11 years ago. The umbrella in the center represents our large umbrella we used to walk together under when it was raining. The salmon represent the fact that he loved fishing and caught lots of fish. The yellow colour is because his family called him Happy as a baby because of his sunny disposition. The As are for his initial. The wood under the As is because he was such a good carpenter - he even built our home. The nut is because he was a mechanic and that is how he supported us. The grass border is for all the times he cut the lawn and I am cutting it now. Al - RIP.
