Second Diva Weekly Challenge No. 81 "Guest Post - Relay for Life". I started with the background by wetting the paper then dropping some Daler Rowney Acrylic Artists Inks in Process Cyan, Indian Yellow and Flame Orange. I used this background for the Mandala design. It looks like there are some cups of black coffe in it.
Thank you so much for telling your process. Is it watercolor paper? So you drop in the colors, let it dry and then applied the template and did the design, which is striking by the way.
ReplyDeleteIt is 140 lb hot press Arches (France). I picked up a sheet last week and cut it into 3.5 x 3.5 squares then I rounded off the corners. I asked for a sheet of smooth water colour paper that would be suitable for writing on with a pen and this is what they sold me at the art store.
ReplyDeleteI love this color! Great work!
ReplyDeleteReally nice, I can see the cups of coffee!
ReplyDeleteVery nice. Love what you did with the "coffee" cups. Great! Also love the background color.
