Diva Weekly Challenge No. 60 DUO TANGLE v. III "Cirquital/Munchin". I had drawn a circle in my sketch book with 2 Munchin coming off it at the bottom and it looked like an upsidedown cat's head with ears to me so.......

I started with the central flower then added leaves and swirly ideas from my new book - 5,000 Flower and Plant Motifs by Graham Leslie McCallum. The watercolour pencil crayons are by Derwent.

Tangle Refresher No. 19 PURK, FACETS, JEEWELS, NINJA STARS, FERN.

The ZEN BUDS are a tangle by Danni O'Brien. I drew the string of intertwining branches in pencil, overlapping them then drew in the Zen Buds in ink. In pencil, I connected the buds to the branches , added leaves, inked them all in then erased the pencil. I then shaded the roses. I added the colour with DERWENT Watercolour Pencils. I wetted the roses but not the leaves and large intertwining branches. I will have to be careful not to get the brown and green wet as the colours will run as I didn't set them with water.

I am not sure whether the name for the bottom tangle is Oakhurst Window or Crossview - it is by Danni O'Brien. The top part ended up looking like a feather headband to me.

I started with drawing a variation of JOY and it looked like a jellyfish so I added some Sanibelle, Snaylz-trail, starfish, seaweed, bubbles and a shaded frame.

I saw this tangle used on the internet and sketched it in my book. I decided to use it for a frame. I need a small picture now to go in it.

Bird on a branch. I found a new leaf pattern in a colouring book so used it here. I highlighted the berries and some of the small circles with my new Jelly Roll clear star pen. It doesn't show up on the scan but looks gorgeous on the Zentangle. Thanks Diane for loaning me your colouring books for inspiration for new Zentangles.
