Tangle Patterns String # 68.  I did it with the new tangle by Wayne Harlow, CZT and lots of variations as I had a lot of difficulty with this tangle as it seems to need to be accurate.

 The string idea is from Pinterest.  The colour is with Pigma Micron pens and a Derwent Watercolour pencil - Golden Brown 59.

I tried ZanZee by Eathy Casson.  I also used Gryst by Frances Banks and Thumbprintz and Cruffle and a couple of ideas from Pinterest.

Challenge:  Repeat Pattern Stack. I chose to use flowers and ended up with two stacks side-by-side then joining them.   The colour is with pencil crayons then adding some blending fluid and blending with a paper stump.  I also used some micron pens for the colour.

Diva Weekly Challenge # 133 - second one.   "Tipple - love it or hate it?"  I tried some new tangles I found on the net.  Fries 'n' peas, Catena and Sun up and sun down all by Lizzie Mayne,  Piza by Helena and joined at hip by texasdoxiemama.  The colour is with watercolour pencils.

This zentangle turned out very dark with little contrast.  I tried to fix it but with not much success.  Maybe I will try this again sometime.

The string was made with Tangram pieces.  The background is with a watercolour wash.

 Diva Weekly Challenge # 133:  "Tipple - love it or hate it?"  The idea for the flowers and bubbles came from the site draw,doodle,decorate and the entry on Nov.4,2012.  For the colour I used a Stabilo pen, a Tombow marker and a Derwent watercolour pencil crayon.

Tangle Patterns String 067.

 The center motif is etoile du matin that I found on the web.  The background is an acrylic ink wash.  The background shapes are drawn with tangram shapes.  I used yincut, betweed, w2 and tuffit for the background tangles.  I tried doing some 'rounding' now that I know what that word means in zentangling.

I used Ripples, Pipink Ciceron, Printemps, Pokeleaf, Mooka and Footlights.  I didn't use a string on this one.  It grew from the center.  The colour is with watercolour pencil crayons.

The inspiration from this ZIA came from draw.doodle.decorate  site Nov.4/12 entry.  I used watercolour pencil crayons and Tombow markers for the colour.

I drew the string, did the watercolour background then tangled this Zentangle.  I tried Pippin by Juliet Herring, Crossed ell by texasdoxiemama - I didn't use a grid - and Popcloud by Carla Du Preez.

The inspiration for this Zentangle came from Creative Doodling.  The instructions were for a trading card and I applied it to a Zentangle.  The directions were to:  draw 3 random lines,  colour each space, decorate each line, do remaining spaces.  I used watercolour pencil crayons.

I started with a Steampunk Snowflake design and the Zentangle grew from there.  The colour is with Dewent Watercolour pencils.

I tried the Diva Weekly Challenge 132 tile with the right hand.  I would do it differently again as the 'sailboats' didn't work out this time.  

Diva Weekly Challenge No. 132 "Non Domotangle".  This is my interpretation of a monotangle using Bales and it's variations.  I found that I really had to concentrate onwhere the line was going when I used my left hand.  I guess I should practice oftener in my sketchbook using my left hand.  The yellow is with pencil crayons.  The blue 'water' is with a Tombow marker. When I looked at that version of Bales from a different angle it looked like sailboats on the ocean to me so I added the blue.

No. 2 of 8 designs from Diane B.  The petals are coloured with micron pens and Tombow markers. The background is with 3 shades of pencil crayons, odorless paint thinner and a paper stump.

Zendala Dare No. 70.  I started with a watercolour wash background.  The fill-in colour is with a light yellow Tombow marker. 

Tangle Patterns String  066.  I tried Cayla by Chrissie Frampton, Enlosure by Neil Burley and Yew-Dee by Peg Farmer CZT.  I also used Pias and Bubbles.  The colour is with a micron pen and a Tombow marker.  The background was done first with an acrylic ink wash.  The white highlights are done with a Jellyroll pen.

Adventures in Monotangles #20 - Cockles-n-mussels.  I used a wash background with acrylic inks then added some road salt.

Future birthday card for Dianne D.  I used a watercolour was background.

 Kristen starts with a K not a C so had to do another one.  I did the K over top of a watercolour wash background.
